'Calaa kulli xaal' is an Arabic phrase. It literally means ' in any case'.
Calaa kulli xaal, meel fog ma aha, marka waad lugeeyn kartaa.
Anyway, it's not far, so you can walk.
Calaa kulli xaal, aabahaa weeyey, marka waa inaad la hadal.
Anyway, he is your father so you should talk to him.
Calaa kulli xaal, waan isku dayayaa.

Obviously it takes time to compile this fantastic site but your efforts are not totally in vain i can assure you. DeleteThanks for your support! Actually, I started the site while I was looking for work, but now that I am working, I've found less and less time to add new posts. Also, I'm learning French as well! And I was a bit naive in thinking that I could create a kind of mini community of Somali language learners on this site. There is nowhere on the internet as far as I know, where people who are learning the language can get together and ask questions or share what they know, which is a shame. If this site has helped you then I truly am glad. If there are specific things about Somali which you find difficult to understand, and that I haven't addressed on this site, then let me know and I will try to upload a post on it. Nabad gelyo.
